  • Resolve trade barriers and entering international negotiations as a united voice for members

  • Recognized and act as the authority representing the US AI industry, domestically and internationally

  • Offers a platform to discuss matters and issues that impact all members and non-members

Regulate

Assure programs meet or exceed the requirements to maintain self-regulation and self-governance of the AI industry.

NAAB services that protect this core function:

  • CSS Audit program strengthened by MOU with USDA/APHIS

  • Assignment and management of unique stud and marketing codes of production centers and semen type for traceability and sales purposes, strengthened by ICAR for acceptance as the international standard

  • Compiling of industry statistics as reference material for regulatory authorities and industry

Serve

Offer services and programs that create transparency and traceability of genetic material.

NAAB services that protect this core function:

  • Cross reference database programs for dairy and beef and it’s connection to the genetic evaluation

  • Facilitation and management of the NAAB uniform codes for AI bulls

  • Provide efficient services for completion of export documentation

  • Provide services to industry groups and allied industry partners
